Standard HDD to FDD power adaptor?!

I am currently setting my carputer up on the bench so as to prep before install. I have one of Audioforge's PW120's which has a single standard plug for a hard disk drive (HDD) and a single power plug for a floppy disk drive (FDD)... the problem is that right now, I am setting up with one HDD, a FDD and my slimline, slot load DVD ROM/CDRW drive... my DVD rom has the laptop to IDE adaptor which accepts a FDD type power plug... so I have the need for TWO FDD and a single HDD plug... I have purchased HDD Y-Adaptor and also HDD extensions, but I can't find FDD Y-Adaptors or extensions ANYWHERE... trust me, I have searched ALL over the internet. Soooo anyway, can anyone here give me any suggestions? I could make my own Y-Adaptor, but I can't even find plugs for the purpose... heck, Audioforge suggested that I buy a FDD adaptor that would use the standard HDD Molex adaptor... HELP!

You want:

and

and a few wires to connect the two.

There must be distributors in the US. Hopefully those pages will give u some search terms.

Actually coach, If you buy a female molex to 2 male molex connectors, that leaves you with one molex for your HD and one molex for "this"->(attached image). Then you'll have your original FDD connector, a standard molex connector, and another FDD connector. Sorry about the poor picture, darn digital camera. PM me, I'm not using it.

It would be REALLY nice if I could find the first plug listed... I have looked all over for it online and have had NO luck yet.

I'll catch ya online and chat about that plug. Just out of curiosity, is there a reason that the plug on my power supply has FOUR wires in that plug and the one you pictured has only two? Anyone know?

might just wanna solder right to the floppy and heat shrink up the connections nicely. Then, lead it out to a big molex. Floppy are dime a dozen

The reason this only has 2 wires is because its not supplying 12v to the floppy connector, only 5V and Ground. Laptop drives and modern floppy drives only use 5v so you should be ok with that.
