The 3 relay that mastero use are a little hard to find. So far, I found some that are pin compartible.
Main relay SPDT 12V @ 12A or 16A: You can use either NTE R22 or OMRON G2RL 1/1

Standby Relay 12V @ 2A: By Goodsky GS-SH-212T compartible with NTE R40-11D2-12. You can search for other maker as well.
I use this site to search for NTE compartible parts as NTE is easier to get from local electronic stores. http://www.sourceresearch.com/cross-reference.cfm

if you read a few post up, Mastero (the designer of this power supply) should have a kit ready soon. No price has been discussed as yet.

    space contraints.

So far I've managed to cram everything on the top of the board, yet there is this one capacitor that will not fit by any means. Is there any problems wiith putting int on the opposite side of the pcb? ie. making sure it's not short circuited and polarity is flipped.

I have done a major push today to get it ddone, almost all caps and resistors are in. 1/2 of the transitors are in. about 65-70% done whoo hoo.

P.S. watch it blow up when I turn it on ^^

    Sound good.
Make sure you double/triple check for sure that those max chips 101% issolation from the heat sink. Those seem to burn very easy.

    A couple of things.

Looks good Maestro. fyi, the PSU4.5 page's link don't work. but you can look up the parts list if you go to the "PSU Kit" page. In case you ddidn't know ^^

I looked at the list, and well I had the chance to get a tantalum 10uF cap andd I went with a non polar electrolytic. Is this ok, or is the tantalum critical?

I saw a 5V small rerlay? Where ddoes that go? I'm looking at the pcb layout from a month ago and I can't find anywhere on here that a 5V relay would go. Did you update the pcb version or something?

The red and green leds. Are these just for vissual confirmation of functionality or do they act as current flow control? Any type of 3mm LED will worrk, no need to have a special voltage drop or current rating?

I ordered the MAX 788, 787 from Maxim electronics online store 2wks ago and they haven't come in yet. How long do they normally take?

    Thanks,

    David
