    Testing power supply output

    Is there a way to test the output of my opus 150 to make sure it is functioning properly (as my last mobo fried)?

    I have a ohms/ac/dc reader thing..
    how can I test the output?
    and what should it be?

    You can hook it up to an old ATX motherboard, and once it powers up, you can test the voltage. The yellow wire should read 12VDC, the red 5VDC, and the orange 3.3VDC.

    Use papper clip to short pin 14 and 13 of the ATX power connector to turn on the PSU. Once it on you can check for voltage.
    Basically Pin 14 is Power On signal. When you plug in the power, Pin 14 has 5V+, and Standby pin is also 5v. While Pin 14 touch ground, it will turn on the Power supply.
