    Opus auto on for short trip

    im just curious.. but.. i live like 1 min from the store..
    by the time i drive to the store the system would be on for like 30 seconds...

    anyone have problems with this?

    Install a remote start in your car and have the computer boot automatically when your car starts.

    Personally I'd walk if it's really that near.

    I have a switch between the battery and the opus's +ve connection, so I can bypass for some trips.

    yah put a relay or switch between the power and the opus and you can manually turn it off.
