    Tank Circuit

I have no electrical building skills. just wiring, etc. I found the parts list for a tank circuit but could not find the parts at the store. Anyone here build tank circuits to sell?

What country do you live in, that way someone will probably know somewhere you can order the parts?

I'm in the US. I did the Coyote mod on my lilli, but I can not find the parts for the tank circuit.

The posts I found searching all assume some knowledge that I do not have. Are these parts directional? Are they hooked in line? Polarity? Should they be parallel to something? What do I hook em into?

Anyone? I know they are out there.

On a side note; I was thinking of hooking my carputer power to my 1 farad amp cap but it's probably discharge too rapidly.

don't sell yourself short. learning all sorts of new stuff is have the fun of having a car pc. If you read the threads about tanks here and check out some of the stuff on http://www.the12volt.com this will all be well within your ability

PS: the cap's not gonna help you with surviving a crank

Why won't your pc survive a crank? I had my inverter connect to my 8 guage audio cable and it survive the cranking even after i use computer for 20 min without running the engine. May be its because my battery is only few months old.

I have 0 guage running to the trunk. Every wire from my distro block is less than 2' long and I have 0 a gauge ground from my cap and 2 and 4 guage gounds from my various trunk items. I then power a 4 650 wchannel amp, a 1F cap that powers a 800w amp and then my carputer. The amps power 4 mid / tweets and 1 10" Polk. Doesn't sound like too much power but I guess it is...
