    Opus 150 watt ATX Connector

I lost the atx cable that came with the power supply. Can I just cut the ends off of another power supply and solder it to another connector? Is there any way that I can get this cable?

    Thanks,

    Bobby

You need a male-male ATX connector, not a male-female like zijester linked to.

If you feel like soldering 40 cables together, then get yourself a couple of old, dead ATX power supplies, and cut off both the ATX connectors, and start soldering them together, making sure you match up the wires, so you have the clip facing up on both, and the ends (that plug into the motherboard) facing away from each other, and match one for one.

Or, it might be easier to find a male-male ATX connector, and then you won't be trusting both your Opus and all your computer components to 20 hand-soldered connections.

Buy two and break out the soldering iron.

Or you could just order a 20 pin ATX molex connector and some crimp pins.. no soldering required.. chop off an atx power connector and put a second male end on it... Digikey and mouser sell appropriate connectors, I know...
