    Vector VEC018 pocket power

    http://www.vectormfg.com/site2/vecto...products_id=72

    could this be used as a tank somehow? run it in parallel right before a power inverter to survive crank? i saw it today at pepboys. this is all the site says:
    FEATURES:

    * Portable power to run/charge cell phones, camcorders, TVs, worklights, radis, laptops, vacuums, inflators and more
    * Easy to use, simply plug 12 volt DC device into built-in power socket
    * Cordless and rechargeable from home or vehicle
    * Compact & Lightweight (4 lbs)
    * Rapid charge your cell phone in less than 30 minutes. Provides three hours or more of extended talk time
    *Maintains vehicle's electric memory setting if battery is disconnected for service/repair

    INCLUDES:

    *Built in 12 volt DC accessory receptacle
    *110 volt AC wall charger
    *Sealed, 6 amp hour, 12 volt non-spillable lead acid battery pack
    *12 volt DC charge for use with 12 volt accessory outlet
    *Durable nylon case with adjustable shoulder strap and belt holster
    for $20 it might be perfect to smooth out the voltage during crank.

    buy it, and put a mutil-meter on it during cranking...
    if it doesn't do what you want it to..bring it back...
    OR just buy and opus!
