    power on the cheap

    I have a friend who wants me to help him put a cheap pc in his computer. I'm sure eventually he will want to upgrade after he sees how cool it is at first, but to start with he doesnt want to spend much.

    First, to skimp on power we gotta use an inverter. Now to startup we can use what, startup on power loss... and ITPS for shutdown?

    What is the best way to wire the inverter and ITPS...

    Should I wire the battery straight to inverter with a dash-mount switch half way between or something. Is there a delay-on switch for the inverter I can hook up to ACC wire or something so when key is partially turned or car is turned totally on it will kick on the inverter after say 20 seconds?
