    Powerstream DC ATX Power Supply

Has anyone tried or heard about Powerstream ATX power supplies? It's 24 volts in, but they have an adapter to use in autos. The powersupply is $162...slightly less than certain very popular ones. Of course, it doesn't include a shutdown controller and all that stuff.

did you see this one on there site?

DC Input mini-ITX Style power supplies

looks very close to the opus for size and is also 90w
it only usd but no shut down controler
might save you the cost of a 24 volt to 12 volt converter
so you can buy a shut down controler.

    Regulated 12 volts

"never mind last post 12 volt is passed thru unregulated !!!!

Not always a problem, since many systems don't use the 12 volts, besides PowerStream now has a fully regulated ITX power supply with steady 12 volts.

Wow, that is incredible. All of the other power supplies that price are unregulated. With an ITPS this would almost be an OPUS.
