If you have a 150W it'll always power STDBY and USB devices on.
If you have a 90W all you do is take the jumper of and it won't.
My computer will keep supplying power to USB devices even when the computer itself is not on. If I use a self power USB HUB and take the 5V out from OPUS to power the hub, when I turn the ACC off and trigger the OPUS to turn off my computer, will it cut the power to the USB hub as well ?
With nothing connected to the USB port, does it still drain battery ?
Does the OPUS cut off power to the computer after a period of time after it trigger the computer to shutdown ? Or does it still supply power to the computer but just trigger it to shutdown ?

OPUS 150's don't turn off standby power when they are off, which complies with the ATX power standard I'm told. So because of this your USB devices stay powered.
Look at this thread. The mod listed at post #78 works.
Looking for a creative solution: USB bus still powered after CPU is off
For the 90watt OPUS. At what point does it switch off the 5V ? When the ACC trigger is off ? or wait after the preset shutoff time ?
So say my computer will shutdown after 20 min after the ACC trigger is off. At this point OPUS will trigger my computer to shutdown and cut off power to the 5v line ?
Kind of getting all confused again !
On the Opus 90w there's a jumper option to cut the 5v, and I believe it does so as soon as the PC is off.
Also you might want to try a USB hub they turn my lights off my usb mouse and keyboard
1 question but what if u have 150 opsu and usb still stays on does it metter and will it damage the screen or drain the batter ?
tnx

No, it shouldn't damage your screen nor anything else in your system. It may drain or cause long term damage to your battery.Originally Posted by LanoX
Do the inline ATX relay/diode mod in that thread that has already been referenced. It'll stop your system from draining your battery.
do usb devices really use enough power to drain a battery?
i have my lilliput touchscreen and keyboard hooked up to a usb hub
