    ITPS Ground Question

When wiring the ITPS... Could I just tap into a ground (like from the radio) for the ground wire of the ITPS or do I have to phsyically ground it to my truck frame?

you can use the same groung as the radio but the vehicle frame woul be preferred. Are you using the ITPS for regulated 12V or are you only using as a starup/shutdown controller?

I'm using it for both. I have a PW70A PSU. Why would the vehicle ground be preferred? I mean.. If the radio ground is 100% working ground then why is it better then to just tap into that ground?

    Thanks for the reply.

Just make sure you don't hook a big wire in for the positive and a little one for ground...what goes in must come out

Are you talking the gauge of the wire?? I have 12Gauge from the battery to the non-switched of the ITPS then I have what looks like around 16-18 from the back of my radio going to the switched of the ITPS. So is that bad?
