Is opus 90w enough?

I am going to be running an MII-1200 with 512 mb ram a 160 gm 7200 rpm hard drive, full size dvd drive, GPS and a wireless PCMCIA card, and a lilliput powered by the opus. Will the opus 90w be enough or should I get a 150w.

probably not. Get the 150w.

The 90 watt OPUS would be enough for this setup.

FWIW, I initially ordered a 90W opus and ended up going over its capability by like 1W. But 1W or 50W over doesn't make a difference - it still doesn't work. So I had to return it and get the 150W (for a whole $40 more) and wish for all the time and hassle that I would have just got the 150W straight off. HOWEVER, if you can definitely confirm that you won't need more than 90W then it is obviously a better $$$ decision, but the 90W Opus also has a setting to totally turn off power when the ignition is off so that you don't supply 5W power to your USB devices which is NOT the case with the 150W Opus. This reason makes the 90W Opus a better choice if you can hack it. Search for a link to the power calculator thing that can be used to determine how much wattage you will be using...
