You can probably find extensions somewhere but you can extend them yourself. Just slice and extended. It's going to be under the seat anyway. for the HDD radioshack sells molex extension adapters.
my carputer is coming along quite well, but i have a problem.. i have no place to put my ps near the mb. it will prob. be like 3-4ft away under a seat. what can i do?? does anyone sell extensions for the main harness??? or should i do it ghetto-style and cut the wires and make them longer???(need the main harness and one for the hdd) thanks in advance...![]()

You could try attaching 5 of these together to reach 3-4 feet. It would cost you about $22 shipped. I've ordered from the site before and find they have excellent service.
Buy the connector and make the cable yourself.
Most electronic store have those connector.
2004 Matrix XR A7N8X-VM/400 AMD XP-M 2500+, DS-ATX

RoadRunner is the best FE PERIOD
EmoRebellion is a SCAMMER
You could just remove the pins from the conector and just replace with longer wires.
Kefka_Killer.owns(you);
found some of the extensions locally for $10. i only had to make an extension for the hdd . now for some reason, the power supply wont turn on if the hdd extension is in, but if i take it out and plug the hdd like normal, it works. what can i do to solve this??
You know thats a dumb thing to do though? Your gonna loose alot of voltage...
I'd check the voltage before you go and turn it on.. Its's possible you'll probablly have 4.75V on the 5V rail and about 11.6Vv on the 12V or even lower...
I'll spout simplistic opinions for hours on end.
Ridicule anyone who disagrees with me,
and generally foster divisiveness,
cynicism and lower level of public dialog!
it might be dumb, buts thats the only place i can fit the power supply.
im prob gonna change the hdd to an external case with its own ps.like the one for the cd drives that make them usb. come to think about it, the hdd f***ed up after the extesion was put in.... must of erased stuff somehow??? cuz now it says OS not found....
I have the 12v and 5v off my Opus extended over 10ft using 18g wire. No problems here.Originally Posted by KaiTech
