I had this issue.. and it turned out to be a bad stick of Ram..
Check your event log in windows XP to get information on the reboots... that will help you track it down
I have a PW70A coupled with an ITPS. Sometimes my PC just shuts off (more when my truck is off then on). Sometimes when I'm working on my PC with my truck off it will work fine. Other times it will just reboot itself. I've had this happen a handful of times while driving as well.
This is what I have powered off it: 7" Lilli, 2.5" HDD, Slimline DVD/CDRW, USB Hub w/ USB GPS, WIFI, and Bluetooth.
Any ideas? I did that power simulator over at mini-box.com and it shows I'm under 60W total under DVD load.

Battery voltage is dropping below 13.3V therefore your power supply (and computer) is receiving less than 12V so it's crashing.

Yup
think this has b een discussed numerous times
ITPS drops voltages a fair bit
so your PSU is receiving less than 12V when your engine is off.
so provided that your PSU can maintain the 12V line even when the input is less than 12V, your MB will drop dead, more so if you are drawing more current during CPU intensive or harddisk activities

Well this happens when the truck is running too. Yesterday the two times it happened my truck was on and I had been driving for a while.
Is there no solution for this?
Thanks!

I hope the mods don't realize I can still post.
My truck is an '03 so it's that old...
What hardware are you saying to look at?
