    Inverter or regulator required?

    Hi Guys,

I'm a bit of noob to the whole CarPC thing and I'm currently looking at purchasing a Xenarc MP-SC1 CarPC and a Xenarc 700TSV LCD monitor. As both of these items operate on 12VDC, will I require any miscellaneous power items such as a power regulator or an auto start/shutdown device? Am I correct in thinking that I should be able to use both of these items without having to use an inverter?

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers,

    XGA.

Since your battery gives out 12vdc, you won't need an inverter. I'm sure you'll need some sort of regulation though since the battery doesn't igve out even 12v.

Thanks Slitha. Can anyone recommend a suitable power regulation device?
