Hmm, that's kinda weird. Are you sure it's holding it in the on position? I have an ITPS also but mine does not hold it in on position.
Try testing it with a multimeter (use continuity mode).
Hi im new on this web site. I have mini p4 computer works with 19v.Iam not using mini itx board. I am using 12v in and 19v dc out with itps board.but my computer does not turn on itps pulse becouse this motherboard on/off sw don't work like itx boards.so i tried to use a small relay on itps (on/off)conector.relay works but when ignition turn on itps gives signel to relay .relay turn on but always stay on until i turn off ignition.so my computer powers up but shut down in few second.please if some one help me to solve this problem.I need something like relay turn on and turn off with in second. Thanks

Thanks for reply.may be I ask my question different way.I bought little pc from www.littlepc.com and that motherboard's power on/off sw does not work with ground.so if I use Itps with that motherboard nothing happen.so iam looking like any relay or something else can just close on/off button for half second.thanks
You can use a DIP reed relay :

This work off the TTL output.
The ITPS grounds the motherboards switch so you will need to connect one side of the relay coil to the output of the PIC and the other to the +5V.
