    Need a little help, thanks

Ok voltage at my inverter w/o carpc attached-14.26V
Crank and voltage drops to 10.12 giving no inverter low voltage alarms.

Voltage at my inverter w carpc attached-13.85V
Crank and voltage drops to 2.0-2.5V.

I have a relay inline with battery and inverter. Can anyone give me ideas on why there is such a huge draw of voltage when the carpc is attached? Before I included the relay I had no reboot on crank. Even after I included the relay I'd have some instances where it'd reboot and some where it wouldn't. Now it always reboots. Could this be due to the relay?

Could be your relay is switching off due to the lower voltage?

Are your connectors good and are you using big enough wires?

Well my connections at the relay aren't the best.(Meaning I could do a better job with them) I guess what's confusing me is the difference with and w/o the car pc attached. I will redo my connections and see if that helps. In the meantime I'm open to more suggestions. Oh yeah and the size of my wires is fine. Now I have extended my psu wiring by almost a foot as well. Thought I may need to include that info too.

Well, the difference is the power draw of your pc. When you've got some reserve in the form of capacitors in the inverter, they will keep the voltage up, as long as there's not too much power used...

    Just guessing though...

Something isn't right with your measurement. You car couldn't crank with voltage that low. Where are you actually measuring the voltage at?

Yeah my car is probably getting better voltage than that, but since I'm a one man team I can't crank and test at the battery. As previously stated these readings are at the inverter so it has to have something to do with either the relay, inverter or carpc. Now which of the three is where I'm stuck and I really don't even know how I could troubleshoot this outside of making sure my connections are more secure.
