that is not sproggy's website but mastero's, MKII(mastero's dc-dc psu based on sproggy) is the most successful variant of sproggy's dc-dc psu. the great sproggy is an old member of the forum, unfortunately, even his website has been down for years now.

the dc-dc psu i built is based on mastero's mk3.5 and has been running foolproof for a year now...

I am not sure how many has been build the new Mastero/Sproggy (MK V3+) PSU . Only Danon and I (excl Mastero) were one who highly recommended the PSU.
But hell yeah, take your time, build one and it WORKS.

For those that have built the current Mastero/Sproggy, what's a rough total cost for all parts needed?

Just wondering how close it is to the price of an AC inverter.

I've only ever soldered about four or five projects, a couple of character LCD's and a small circuit on a proto board. Is the psu a lot harder?

    Thanks,

    Kris
