    Dumb OPUS question

This is the system I am builing into a mini cube PC box, I know there are a ton of Links about power draw but they seem to differ so here are my questions.

Does the Opus need a ITP ? (If not I assume I can plug power from a relay stright to the OPUS.

Will the 150++ Opus power all of these
(OPUS 150 watt DC-DC Power Supply for Shuttle PC's)

    p4-itx
    2.5Ghz P4
    1 Stick 512Meg DDR400
    160G 3.5Hd
    Desktop DVD/r/rw CDRW
    Sound Blaster Aud zx
1 CPU and 1 Case Fan
USB Touch Screen (usb will draw some power)
    Wireless keyboard
USB TV Tuner card.(will be addedd later)
    USB GPS Widget
USB Wi-FI / maybe USB Bluetooth

P4 2.5GHz? which generation is this one? they differ in power consumption.
anyway, just google and u can find a few online PSU wattage calculator
    http://www.jscustompcs.com/power_supply/

anyway, even assuming that you are using northwood, you system (minus the display) is already drawing close to 200W.

so a quick answer would be no, it won't work

No, it will probably not. A P$ at 2.5 a desktop cd and hdd, most definatly no, something's got to give, and it should be the cpu. Maybe now, in the winter it will work in terms of heat, but it surely won't work in the summer.
To answer your other question, no the Opus doesn't need "ITPS".

Then I am even more confused the Opus has a PS for teh shuttle that will work on P4's but just about any P4 system exceeds the wattage the PS will put out.according to the power calcs I have used.

I comfortably run a 2.4ghz celeron. Why would you need something so powerful anyway ?

Well another sugession in case u feel like running P4 2.4 then why not use 2 OPUS power supplies in parallel ...that means 300 Watts of POWER ..sufficient for any add on that u can think off .....;-)

    Onboard Video

I don't see a check box for how much power the on-board video takes on the power calc sites.
