Can I use an ITPS and a Power Inverter.

Just wondering if this would work or what would be another way to power and shutdown a computer with a regular AC power supply?

I'm not sure it worth it. ITPS can be maxed up to 15A, but I think it won't work @ even 10A( 120W ). So if you run PC directly it may be enough but I doubt that inverter+ regular supply will make it. Still you can use the signal from ITPS but the point is to make sure you have cut off power from PC completely. Which regular ATX supply wont' do.

    you can do it...

just have the ITPS toggle the power on/ off on your mobo.. and also trigger a relay which supplies 12V from yuor car battery to the inverter.. pretty simple really...
