Please Help, Opus Problem And A Very Different One

I have had this opus approx. 2-3 week from when it arrived on my door, iv installed it on a p4 2.4ghz micro atx mobo and a 2.5 inch hd. I had it working but later it wouldnt turn on my pc and would just turn on the front led. It makes my mobo give a buzz from its speakers and i am getting power from the +5v rail. Please help as i bought this PSU from this site and am waiting for Zip-locks reply but want to make sure if anyone has experianced this and how they dealt with it.

Earlier in another post, you mentioned that you shorted the 12v and 5v rails. Likely that is the cause of the trouble, and you will need to get a new one.

I originally read that in the thread below, but I see now that the thread has been edited and no longer mentions that.

hey if you shorted rails on your pw-120 theres fuses that are surface mounted that you can solder back together and all will be well. therer are 3 of them. and you should probably put new fuses in to be on the safe side. i just put solder over the two sides of the fuse and bridged it together on the one i blew
CarPC install is starting to come along again...
