Assuming you set the laptops ‘Power Management Options’ to hibernation after 1 minute (when running on battery).

When you turn off your car the power to your laptop is cut (assuming it powered via cigarette adapter). At this point the laptop is running on its battery. The laptop then hibernates after 1 minute.

How are people bringing their laptop back out of hibernation mode without physically restart your computer?
