OPUS shows new 80Watt Power Supply coming...

I sent an email to support to find out what is the difference between the 80/90 Watt models.

I would think either the 90 being discontinued or the 80 Watt is cheaper and better to manufacturer.

Why else would they have two models so close with the same listed features.
Unless they have totally different footprints...

If you look at the OPUS 80W specs, it clearly states that the outputs are either 12V only, or, 12V+5V+5VSB.

Therefore it is not the same as the 90W supply, which gives out the full ATX power requirements.

It looks as though it will be similar to the Carnetix PSU/regulator.

Okay, perhaps I'm blind, but I don't see where you read that.
I see the POL DC-DC is sorta' like that.
It only talks about input.

Perhaps I need a nap...
