Will my setup cause a battery drain?

I'm going to have my screen tapped into the cig lighter. That socket has constant power, even when the ignition is off. The PC is going to be plugged into a power inverter comming right off the battery.

Do I need to do anything with this setup to prevent a power drain when the system is off? (Other than making sure everything is powered down)

Will the power inverter drain battery power just by being connected? Do any of the LCD screens have a trickle charge so they power up sooner?

    Anything like that?

I dont think there is anything in your plan that will drain the battery enuff to stop you from starting it up in the morning.

Of course making sure that the LCD is turned off is a good idea ....

as for Trickle charge questions ..while I dont know
the answer either way ..im sure it would be more helpful if you named the brand of LCD you are using
