    how to power my carputer look inside please!!!

    okay so i have a mini computer http://shop.store.yahoo.com/point-of...uccinotx3.html

    and it plus in just like one of the laptops does(plugs into wall outlet and than the block that converts to DC). now if i dont want to get a power inverter and just power it right off the battery can i buy a opus and be done with it, or is tehre another solution i would also want to for it to shut down and power up with the key like opus any help is really apprechiated.
    need help putting up my carputer!!!! help me out guys and please be kind to the newbiee

    You have to check the current,volts for you computer but what you said can be done.

    Electrical Requirements

    Line voltage 110V (90V to 130V AC) or 230V AC (180V to 260V AC)

    Frequency: 47 to 63Hz, single phase

    Power in:

    DC 18V / 3A Max. power 54Watt

    so you have to find a PS that give you this numbers...

    Why don't you use laptop car adapter. There is a shutdown controller on the mp3car store that might be hacked to work with it.
