I posted about this psu way back before you could even buy it. If you do a search you will find my post with pics and specs. Only thing I would change on it is the timings. I'm planing on geting a pic programer so I can make one with a better timing scheme. This thing powers my via m10k, 256 meg of pc 2100, 3.5 inch hard drive, dlink wifi card, usb blue tooth adaptor, slim dvd/cd rom, noritake 7000 vfd display. It nice to hear there are some full size atx boards with amd M procesors runing off this psu.

@hcker20000: Do you know if code protection is enabled on the 16F819? If it is, do you have access to the existing code or have you already figured out which I/O pin does what?

I just got my M1-ATX in today and the first thing I noticed was that flashable part. If the code is available, or at least a specification, it should be a trivial excercise to get it to function exactly how you want -- a definite selling point IMHO! I haven't tried mine in the truck yet, but I can say it fits nicely in my C134 case and should help clean up my install.

Does anyone know how exactly J8 (Optional On/Off Switch) works on this?

I was going to hook up a valet switch on this system but wondering if this would have the same effect?

    M1-atx with P4 connector?

Sorry if this has already been answered, but I'm totally new at this. I have a motherboard that I'm using with a Athlon-M, but it requires a 4-pin P4 power connector. Does the M1-atx have this?

I think the M1-atx will be my best bet for a power supply, since the opus is out of my budget. Can anyone tell me why I would choose the carnetix or the
    pw-70 over the M1-atx?

    thanks!

What do you mean? does the M1-atx come with the 4pin cable or do you have to buy it separately from another vendor? where do I attach the cable to the pcb?

    thanks!

It only comes with a standard ATX power cable, not the additional 4-pin P4 motherboard lead.

You can get the needed cable from mini-itx/ituner I think.
