Is the opus 150watt the same dimensions or form factor as a micro-atx power supply? Basically meaning if I get a micro atx case will it fit in there by being screwed down?

Osiris - lower your PC specs and get a carnetix....you cant go wrong with it
Hey Mike my setup is finally done and working perfect, thanks again
i happen to have a "snap-in" power supply that works great. i run it unregulated and drop the voltage down a volt or two with diodes. i use a sealed lead acid battery as a tank circuit, and all is well.
CarPC install is starting to come along again...
Lower it to what? I wanna stay with micro-atx for certain and i can get an amd 1.3 with board for $70 new. Would Pentium processors be better?Originally Posted by camsgs3
I almost went that route. How much diode voltage drop did you use? And what size tank battery?Originally Posted by Grayscale

I finally got the setup I want. This is what I went with...
Case - P4 ready micro atx case
Mother Board - Biostar with intergrated 6 channel sound, usb, and video running currently at 133mhz fsb

CPU - AMD Sempron 2400+ Just to play around I overclocked it passed 2.0 ghz and it still didnt shutdown. AmazingCurrently running it at 1.667 (oem) but may underclock in the future.
I'm still undecided on the screen, most likely one of Armen's in dash screens. My question now is, will this setup support the carnetix 90watt regulator or should I go with the Opus 150watt power supply?
I really don't think so... not even the 80watt regulator...will this setup support the carnetix 90watt regulator![]()

Kinda steep but opus it is then![]()
