Hey im about to hook up a 2nd batt in my 84 regal.

Anything else i should know about installing.

Right now i know.

14.3 with alt running
Using a diode based isolator.
Will have my starting batt still hooked up factory but will run the 2nd batt thru
isolater.
Will have lost of voltage to 2nd batt

Anything else i am missing out on?

And is anyone using an Exide Marine batt, nautilus series?
65 bucks for deep cylcing 140RC compared to $160, 120 RC for yellow top.
Is the exide any worst then the yellow top?
