    many devices need +5v -- how do you power them?

    Just curious how you guys power all your parts that need +5v power...

    example: powered USB Hub ... IDE to USB adapter ... etc

    I was planning on running a line from my computer's PSU ... but that's just another cable i'm gonna have to run ::sigh:: so many already

    if you search a lot of people do the power supply solution, some use radioshack power converters that regulate 5v from the 12v input. from my understanding they are cheap, however they give off a lot of heat.
