    12v to 19v 7.9a (150w max) converter

Ok, I am trying to get away from using my ac to dc converter. I am looking for a 12v dc to 19v dc 7.9a (150watt max) converter. I seen some people say that there was an ebay special, however the links indicate the item is no longer available. So if anyone has a product they have used that produces the result that I am looking for please let me know.

    Thanks

The new carnetix P-1900 might work for you, though I believe it's rated for 120 watts. forum link

The carnetix p-1900 is a great unit if you also want the start up shutdown & the "aux voltage channel", I am waiting for one myself, but if you just want your 19v I would suggest you look at laptop car adaptors, several including sony, dell & panasonic, among others use a 19v design, a good 7.5-8 amp one should be in the 50-70 dollar range....
