Was the problem related to cold weather? I am just north of you and purchased an Opus 150.
I got my OPUS power supply back from repair and so far it hasn't died in the cold weather. I'm a happy camper again.![]()

Doesn't the OPUS have the controller circuit in it?
i.e. Prevents power-up / shuts down outside +5 -> +50 or something..?
The problem only affected the 90 watt power supplies. Mine would die at around -6ºC. If you search, you'll find all lots of posts about people having problems with it. OPUS repaired it under warranty.Originally Posted by -zip-
I didn't ask what the problem was, but I read another post on this board that suggests that OPUS had a batch batch of capacitors specific to the 90watt model.
