    help!! is the opus 90w or m1-atx enough?

    can someone please give me some advice.

    running
    epia MII 12000 512mb ram
    gps usb
    3 fans 50mm
    dssc shutdown controller
    3.5 120gb hd
    wireless keyboard/mouse
    cd rom drive.

    willl 90w be sufficient to run this config?

    Kilomo, you should be OK. I have about the same setup on my 90 watt Opus. I wish I had bought the 150 watt though. I can't even add a PCI ATI Wonder card because it draws too much power and overwhelms the 90watt Opus. If you haven't bought the power supply yet, spend the few extra bucks and get the 150watt.

    One question: is that CD ROM drive a slimline/laptop drive? If it isn't, I would suggest going that route. The full size drives suck up a lot of power, especially at boot and spin-up.

    I wish that calculator would add a 7" xenarc or lilliput to the list of add ons. Only because many of us run the lcd off the power supply as well.

    thanks i appreciate everyones input. i will go with the 150w opus just to make sure i have enough power. this investment needs to be upgradeable.

    150? wow that's a lot. I will have more than you with a 90w. But I'm not adding a video card or anything after... You have to mod the 150w I read here or it will suck all your battery.........
