shutdown software - fake ups - few questions

I want to use the shutdown software posted here

    New shutdown controller - software

    And talked about here
    Ghetto Startup/Shutdown Control for Inverter

    and here Inverter Shutdown controller

And I want to make sure I have understood what a I read - I am a little
    slow - LOL -

I redrew the circuit for what I needed - and I want to check to see if
I drew it correctly - I will check it with a volt meter to make shure

I want to park the car with the car off and the computer stay on for
say like 10 min and shut off if I dont return - and if I do return before
10 min and start the car its like I never left - and I dont have $$$ but
I can spend the $5 for the relay tho

I am worried about a dead battery - My inverter says it will shut off
at around 10v - some thing tells me 10v wil not start my car

I guess it will keep it from killing my battery

I also want to know if using that software, has windows locked up
and killed your battery and what you did to prevent it next time

Holy crap it works !!!!!!! - thanks for the ideas - I did run into a problem
I need to use another relay to shutdown the power to the datalux
LCD - because I used the computer to power it - and even when
windows uses software to shut the monitor off - the back light stays
on - so when I park the car you would see a lit up blank screen -
thats bad - - but yes it works

Do you have info on the diodes you used??

Congratulations on your success. Diagram looks good. Obviously works well too.

I asked my dad if he had some spair diodes and he said to use
Rectifier Diodes and handed me 2 big looking diodes - he knows
his stuff - I did not ask what it was - I would guess a
    1N5401 would work its 3a 100v

Here is a web site that might help

    Unhappy

The shutdown software crashed - 2 times - I had that felling last night
and checked my car at 3am only to find the red light on my mouse lit
    - and the car was a little slow to start but did, the computer ran from
    8pm to 3am

I switched the "pin 4" to 87 instead of 87a and now use the built in
ups software in windows - I hope I can get the shut down software
to work some day - or make windows wait 10min to shut down
