    anyone seen this LM350 schematic?

I am still working on trying to figure out how to get a high power 12V line (6-8A) and sifting through what seems like knowledge of a billion years, found the simple circuit in the picture attached. It is so simple, that I am worried that there is something big I am missing about it (like it not regulating properly?). Anyways, if anyone got some ideas on this one, let me know, thanks.

Oh yeah, the circuit is straight off LM350 datasheet, so its not like someone dumb put it together.... I hope.

The LM308 controls the adjust voltage of the 3xLM350K, done via the variable resistor, negative feedback sensing the output of the LM350Ks.

You dont need the variable control, since you want fix 12V out.

Sorry, Im gonna dissapoint you now, those regulators need >12V to regulates 12V.

True that, stupid mistake on my part, I looked at the Vin-Vout and it just didn't register.

And so as to not start a new thread, here is something else I found http://www.currentsolutions.com/cincon/html/chb75.htm

these things are nice... but ridiculously expensive as far as i know. Specs are written out weird though.

At this rate it seems like i will have to build my own switchmode bastard of a power supply...
