Does it fit? Electrically it'll work fine, but those snap-on PSUs require particular clearence around the ATX plug.
I just bought a MiniITX PC based on a Epia V motherboard.
I also bought a PW-120M 12V DC/DC (200 Watt) for powering the motherboard, but will this work? In the documentation it says that it will work for Epia M "and a wide range of Epia" motherboards.

That Power supply unit is not a regulator, and it needs a 12v input to operate properly. You would need an ITPS or something as a regultar inline between that PS unit and your car battery. If it is being used indoors with an ac/dc convertor then you are fine.

It is only electrically that I'm worried
If it does not fit onto the board because of clearance, I will make a small extentioncord.
I might have a problem with clearance around the ram-modules.
I'm at work right now (and had the supply delivered here) and the pc is at home, so I will not be able to check for aother 4 hours![]()
coach: I already bouth a ITPS to put infront of the powesupply.
But I guess trying to plug it into the car without the ITPS would be a bad idea?
Hurray... it seems that the PW120M fits on the board... now I only need to test it in my car...
Yes! Bad idea!Originally Posted by zulfo
