    Question Mystery M1-ATX Connector

This maybe a dumb question but does anyone know what this connector is:

It is not on the diagram in the manual.

    maybe its for easy flashing?

according to the manual jcdillin is correct, however in true mini-box style there is no mention of what to connect/what the pinouts are

The cable supplied gives power to peripherals anyway, so they probably decided that they didn't need to document that connector.

Have just checked and it says:

J3 Optional HDD Power (not shown in this picture)

you would have to have a very strange lead to connect from that to a HDD!

On a side note, the amp enable connector J2 has 2 pins, from what I can remember when I installed my amp connected to my head unit it is just a single blue cable. any one know about this?

It's just an accessory power connector with additional 5V and 12V connection points. I don't know where you can get the cable but I can tell you it's exactly the same cable (and pin connections) as the Opus 150W accessory power cable. You can make your own by ordering the appropriate connectors and pins directly from Molex or Digikey.

I wish i could get the plug for that, I want to make a harness that goes from there, out of my case so I can quick plug in a harness from the dash that powers my xenarc, USB hub and my directXM box.

Thats definatly a good idea, it could become a TFT/LCD power connector
    System:
    256Mb, PIII 533 on a Hyph01 PCI sized mobo (Lan/Sound/GFX)
    M1-ATX PSU
    250GB Hdd

    USB:
    Haicom GPS
    Belkin Wireless

    Case:
Installed in an old NTL box, (best thing for it)
