    +5v wire red? quick please!

    I'm hard wiring a usb 2.0 drive, and need +5v, is it the red wire on the molex conector? thanks in advance

    red = 5
    yellow = 12

    you can also look on the bottom of an IDE drive.. usually by the power connector it says " +5v g g +12v .. for the 4 wires..

    how so?, USB cable:Hub -> PC, Power cable:Hub -> PC, where would the noise come from?
