    Will this work? inverter help

I was woundering if this would work. I have no idea. Please help.

What I'm wanting to do is be able to turn off my car and keep the computer on until I shutdown the computer. As the computer shuts down it would turn the inverter off.
    Any ideas?
    Thanx!!!

I ran a dedicated line from the battery and installed a relay, then used the acc. wire and 12v from Power supply, with diodes to activate the relay. Hope that helps, I can draw it For you if you want.
    Install { 50% } Complete for now.
    But stable and running happily

I've been working on this schematic. It basically turns on power to an inverter, whenever the ignition is on.

However, I realized that, my pc takes a moment to hibernate. If I just have it cut power when I turn the key off, that's no good. So I did this. A second relay, that keeps power going, as long as the PC is on (parallel port pin 1 I chose). However, this would keep the PC on forever. I needed a magical way to hit the power button. So I asked for help and got a smal lschematic that turns a relay's actions into a momentary button push. So, as you turn the ignition off, the power button is "pushed". the only thing this circuit doesnt do is cut power after a minute, such as if your PC freezes on shutdown. I don't know that much about timers yets.
