Angry PW-200-M, component smoked, possible to fix ?

    Hello
    I have bought this...
    http://www.mini-box.com/s.nl/sc.8/ca...it.A/id.300/.f
But then, I was so stupid to connect it wrong, so the small, grey component started to smoke.

    see picture here
    http://www.logicsupply.com/images/po...-120-M_big.jpg
Is well hidden by the white and black cord in the top left corner.
I think it is some sort of a coil...

I truely believe, that is the only component that is trashed....

The small grey component (coil), have an "ID" on it.

    1R8
    TMP T

Does anyone know if is possible to change this component ?

Please do not hook up the PW-200 backwards.

The little gray part you smoked is a choke inductor, hard to find. If you are not concerned about noise injecting back into your DC system, simply bypass it with a solder bump.

The PW-200 seems to be damaged, nothing you can do in this case, sorry.
