It should. Also, the code I wrote will help with the temperature problem. I'm pretty confident the mod will solve your problem too..

    Jeff,
I had limited success. The 33 ohm resistor seemed to do the trick. Started the truck and the computer fired right up. No more relay clicking! Played around with the computer for about 20 minutes and shut everything off. Tried turning it back on and the computer will not turn on. The led is behaving properly and is on solid with ACC or engine running and blinks once per second with the ignition off. Nothing feels hot enough for a temperature fault and power is coming out of VOUT. Just not getting a power pulse to the motherboard. I'll have to check things out better tomorrow when I have more light and time to check my wiring. At least the clicking is gone now. Thanks!

The fix wasn't discovered until 4/27, only 3 days ago. The resistor mod seems to be working for me. I did hear it click a couple of times on the first startup the other morning. It was 36F that morning so I don't know if the low temperature cutoff could have been the cause. Hasn't clicked since though.

Glad to hear this has been resolved - so what's the procedure if I bought my uSCD20D from mp3car.com? Do I need to send it to them or to you Jeff to get them repaired/updated? I also hear the clicking, and it "randomly" shuts down the system.
