After two firmware "upgrades" this one actually works GRRRRREAT!

Andrewb said they were sending out new PICs to replace the defective ones so no programming necessary, just a chip swap.

I sent them an email today. How long did you have to wait to get the replacement? Did you send the old chip back?

i dropped them an email and they said they are sending me one,
heres a Tip dont click on the Email link they provided, Copy and paste it because when you click on it, it composes an email with a different address, and they dont respond to that address

Thanks. Mini-box.com responded very quickly (matter of minutes) and is working to get the situation sorted out. Thus far I'm fully satisfied with their support.

My remote amp works perfectly, no thump on power on or off. Let me know if you want some help setting the amp stuff up. Power (looks) like it shuts down correctly at the right times too.

They got me a new chip in a matter of days (actually shipped it in a chip shipper this time too

) . They didn't ask me to send the old one back either. This was the second update I got from them and both times they were very quick about getting me the chip. First chip I got had all the pins bent from shipping. After sending them a rather nasty email I had the new firmware as soon as they released it.
