    Talking Just got my new M1-ATX firmware!

    After two firmware "upgrades" this one actually works GRRRRREAT!

    Big thanks to everyone here and at mini-itx that got the bugs worked out!

    where did ya get it?.. is it a chip or a software thing? .. I know what firmware is.. just how is it installed

    Andrewb said they were sending out new PICs to replace the defective ones so no programming necessary, just a chip swap.

    i dropped them an email and they said they are sending me one,
    heres a Tip dont click on the Email link they provided, Copy and paste it because when you click on it, it composes an email with a different address, and they dont respond to that address

    what is the issue it fixes?

    I have some issues with mine.. just wondering if it fixes them or my machine is just dumb

    does your remote amp work? mine doesnt =(

    My remote amp works perfectly, no thump on power on or off. Let me know if you want some help setting the amp stuff up. Power (looks) like it shuts down correctly at the right times too.

    They got me a new chip in a matter of days (actually shipped it in a chip shipper this time too ) . They didn't ask me to send the old one back either. This was the second update I got from them and both times they were very quick about getting me the chip. First chip I got had all the pins bent from shipping. After sending them a rather nasty email I had the new firmware as soon as they released it.

    I saw 2 wires for the amp jumper.. what one should I use?..

    currently I use the 12v line of the PSU to turn on the am.. no thump on startup but on on shutdown..

    yes any help would be great. I tried using a voltmeter on ether pin and i only got like .03v, any suggestions? thanks!
