    M1-ATX adapter

Where can I get an adapter so I can plug my M1-ATX into a wall in my house so I can power the cpu inside and set everything up.

yeah but dont just buy any 12volt adapter, you need to make sure it can supply the amperage that the M1 needs which I would think would be around 5 to 10 amps

how do you want to modify it?

it is 80W and the M1 is 90W so will draw 90W + inefficiencies at full load (eg 90% eff. => 100W).

I would personally use an old ATX PSU that has a nice strong +12 DC line of 10A (120W). You could get away with less if you then connected some of your 5V drives/devices to the AC PSU to lower the M1 load. But keep the mobo running off the M1 for testing etc.

are you guys just suggesting using an ATX power supply in the house and m1 atx for car.

or snip off the 12v from the atx connector on an ATX p/s and connect it to the leads on the m1 atx.

i showed that link because that's what i've been using to power my tc10000 in the house and was wondering if i could use it for my m1 atx?

    thanks.

Why not use a 12v battery of a car and just keep charging it up?
