    opus heat issues

hi. i have searched and cannot find anything.

i have a opus sfx 150 and i can fit it into my dash but it will be touching the main wiring harness for the cabin. will the opus get hot? how hot? i will be powering a xenarc 700ts, epia m10000, a 3.5" hdd, a gps, and possibly a optical disk drive. Does it need to be well ventilated? I think that im just going to buy a atx extension cable and mount the opus near my fusebox, much more room. I just want to know.

    thanks,
    john

Vent and fan would be a good idea.

I have a fan next to mine, but I can't say it was hot at any time though. Maybe a bit warm, but not hot. Anyway, it would be a very good ideea so that the cables don't touch among themselves, I'm sure you can find a way to avoid this.
