    Power Consumption

Whats the power consumption if you have a EPIA m1000 and opus power supply?

How long before you have to change the car battery. Is there any way to install a secondary battery that's dedicated to Car PC?

Relax, the Opus uses little reserves of power, you'll definatly not need a second battery. I've kept mine on with the engine off for about 7 hours, and the car started without a single problem. (well, my battery is new, and it has 10Amps more than the stock one...)

Don't do that too often though, car batteries don't like being drawn down repeatedly. If you want to be able to do that without shortening the battery life, look at deep-cycle batteries. Check out this battery FAQ: http://www.windsun.com/Batteries/Battery_FAQ.htm
