Thread: Another DC-DC power supply. 85Watt

Looks like a standard Morex power supply with a dropout regulator on it. I believe this is the same as the "car kit" that people talk about on occasion. Do a search for "Morex car kit" and see what comes up.

Also, for $110 does that power supply doesn't come with an auto startup/shutdown controller? If not, the Ops goes for $150 or about the additional cost of buying one.

BTW, the prices on that site seem to be higher than other places, including the mp3car.com store. But it's hard to tell because they don't give you any information on the products, so I can't be sure the comparison is valid but, for example, the Xenarc 8" touch was going fo $500 there and it's $485 on mp3car.com
