I've searched the forum but could not find anyone with this same problem.

My ITPS is not sending the power on signal. It is only sending the power off signal. I have soldered two wires to my power button on my laptop. I have tested the wires and they work properly. When I tap them together the laptop turns on. If I tap them again the laptop turns off. If i hold them together for more than 4 seconds the laptop if forced to turn off.

I have checked all ITPS wires at least three times.

I have the Input Red wire connected to my ACC
I have the Input White wire connected to my constant 12 V+
I have the Input Black wire connected to my Ground

I don't really use the output portion of the ITPS because I have my laptop hardwired to my ACC wire using a DC-DC adapter and my power settings to power off when running on batteries. So shutting down is resolved and the ITPS is sending the signal to shut down.

Anyone experienced this problem? Is my ITPS defective?
