well at that resolution (800x480) a normal graphics card is should be enough. Graphics cards effect your mpeg playback. Have you ever been on an older computer that has a bad graphics card and watch a mpeg? the damn playback sticks then you wait about 10 secs and it resumes or it the audio gets ahead of the video and everything is out of sync.

I dont want to install a processor im trying to avoid putting in my own processor. I have a fear of messing up the mobo

the pundit-r already has a 3.2ghz processor the regular pundit says Up to 3.2. Whenever it mentions UP TO means there is no processor given to you on the mobo, correct?

Nope mate.... I purshased one and you must (as any other "barebone" system) add the processor... hence the name "barebones"...

Under the Specifications page on the Asus website you will see it says "CPU SUPPORT: 3.2 Ghz+ prescott bal bla"...

    misleading nonetheless

I had never done it too, but download the manual on the asus site, it is very well documented, plus you can always ask a friend or take it down to a technician just to check that part for you...

Basically you dont want to force anything in place, and you want to get stuff in the right direction...

Don't be a pussy, install your processor. If you're afraid to do that, how can you even think about putting a PC in your car?

I dont know who am I to say.... I havent toyed with it to give you a firm opinion yet.... But just check out as many options as possible (asus, shuttle, VIA mobos, P4-ITX) and then it will be easier to chose...

It will also depend on how much space you have in your car
