Hi @ all.
I have a little problem..I will make a power supply DC-DC for my car.
This PS must keep active a pc like that.
- P1@133 + fan
- 1 Hd
- 1 Sound Card
- 1 Video Card
- 1 Net Card
- maybe a CdRom...
How much Watt consume that computer?
I found a PS (mk2.6) that provides 60W..It's enought?
Otherwise I found another PS (mk3.5) but it's more difficult to make than mk2.6..
Is there possible have other link?
Thanks at all.
Ps:- Sorry for my bad bad English..![]()

To calculate more precisely, search using terms "power calculators". You should find links to power calculators that will allow you to input your system and estimate the wattage.

I have an mk2.5 that has run almost that exact setup with no problems for 5 years now.
I search on Google...Second Power Calculatore that pc use at least 120W..It's seems too big..IHMO..
@ MrPerfectionest: Mc2.5 put out 70W for AT connector right?
What's your configuration? Same of mine? Same same?![]()
Any response?
Is any simple schematic for a DC-DC over 70W?
I see Mk3.5 it's a bit complex, but I didn't found how place component on it...

I search, but all post I found, are too old and the link to schematics doesn't work.
An example? w*w.sproggy.com
Isn't possible have some link to some Dc-Dc converter a bit simple to build?
Thanks and sorry for my bad English...Have patience..
