    Powering my PC

I have a normal desktop PC. I want to put it in my car and power it through and iverter...i will also be powering a 15 inch lcd screen. I was wondering how powerful my inverter should be for this?

    Could someone please advise me?

    Thanks
    Deep

Theoreticaly an 300W/1000W inverter works if you use a 300W consuming hardware. When you switch your hardware on, it can consume peek wattage which in your case is 1000W. Theoreticaly.

As a rule, you should use at lease double what you theoreticaly need. So I f you r PSU+LCD consumes lets say 350W, it would be a good Idea to use an 600W+ inverter. Inverters are NEVER what they are advertised to be!

Your equipments power draw should add up to less that the true or RMS power...otherwise you risk barbecuing your inverter...while it's in your car...fun stuff.
