Opus to computer & lcd power

Is this a good idea? If not, what would be more logical?

Yes, most of the members here (including me) power their LCD from the PSU. Read the sticky in the LCD forum, and see the choises.

Yeah, but will I have a problem with the length of the cables? The blue lcd power line indicates lcd power and a long vga cable.

No, basiclly if you run your wires though the side sills you can't have more than 5 m there btw, you'll be just fine. This is how I have mine. For the VGA cable it is reccommended o keep the legth under 5m, but there have been cases when someone run a longer VGA cable and had no problems. However I'd suggest keep it no longer than 5m, and use high quality cables, not only for the VGA but for most of your wires, as otherwise it may cause interference.

Yeah, my car is about 5m long I think so as long as I don't have to route it in a bunch of weird turns I should be fine. Thanks
